I have not been very vocal on this blog this past year because I was still sort of trying to define my new voice. I started this blog to channel the anxiety I felt when I relocated from NYC to Hawaii. During that time, I was spiritually disheveled—engaging in behaviors that were extremely destructive because I needed to escape my reality. However, I am NOT there there anymore! These days, I have been feeling joyful, calm—and just a bit more settled.

I have been a little fearful of having this blog take a Christian-tone. So this is my polite little way of telling you that it will. I could have not gotten outta that BAD place without God’s love and grace, his comforting words, and the much needed discipline he provides (quickly!) when I am messing up. So now that I am in a better place, I MUST give credit where it is due :)
